If you don't have an Apple Pencil, Shapr3D works only as a CAD viewer. Shapr3D is compatible with all major CAD software (including but not limited to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Fusion360, and CATIA). It supports the entirety of the 3D pipelinemodeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, video editing, and motion tracking. If you actually want to use it you have to get the subscription. Mobile devices have long excelled at consuming content, and a wide selection of media and entertainment applications have flourished. The user interface is easy to master, enabling any user to quickly integrate Shapr3D into their workflow. I went through the tutorial and it really does seem like it could be a replacement for my desktop tools until I went to actually create my first model and was faced with the subscription costs. Go from sketching to realistic previews and manufacturable 3D models within the same intuitive workflow. Export / Import your models into other apps.
